As their final club event for the semester, several members of Lehigh AIAA took a trip to Lehigh Valley International Airport to visit the Lehigh Valley Flying Club and learn a little bit about the world of general aviation. Gracious clubmembers treated Lehigh students to doughnuts and coffee and showed them around the club's airplanes, answering questions about flying, aircraft, and pilot training. It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning for all involved, as the members of Lehigh AIAA learned a lot about what it takes to become a pilot, as well as the pleasures of having a pilot's license. Members of the Lehigh Valley Flying Club enjoyed meeting some fresh faces and sharing their love of flying (and of course their airplanes) with the group. With any luck, it will not be too long before Lehigh AIAA makes another appearance at the airport - hopefully one with an airborne component!
